Artist & Educator

Allison Green is a contemporary botanical oil painter represented by Susan Eley Fine Art in New York City and Hudson. Her large-scale paintings have been exhibited in galleries and art fairs throughout the United States, included in international private collections, and featured in publications including ARTnews, Hi-Fructose, VICE Creators, and Artsy Editorial. A certified art teacher and experienced educator, Allison has taught visual arts in public schools, led professional development painting workshops for art specialists, and developed educational programs for students and adult artists. Most recently, she served as a Visiting Artist at Jersey City Arts High School, where she designed and taught a 10-part botanical acrylic painting workshop. Drawing from more than two decades as a full-time exhibiting artist, Allison creates workshops that are both technically rigorous and deeply engaging, helping students of all experience levels build confidence, develop strong painting skills, and experience the joy of creative expression through the beauty of the botanical world.

PRIVATE PAINTING LESSONS

Available Year-Round by Appointment

Two-hour private lessons provide individualized instruction in botanical painting, oil painting techniques, composition, color, and creative development.

Perfect for beginners, experienced painters, or anyone seeking focused one-on-one instruction.

Tuition: $200 per two-hour lesson

Professional easels, brushes, palettes, and shared studio materials are provided. A simple supply list will be provided for students continuing with ongoing lessons.

WOMEN'S BOTANICAL PAINTING STUDIO SERIES

Join a small group of women for an intimate studio painting experience exploring botanical painting through observation, imagination, and personal narrative.

• Five-week series
• Maximum of six students
• Wednesday afternoon and evening sessions
• September 2026
